OUR MISSION IS TO BUILD LIFELONG SKILLS IN CRITICAL THINKING, PUBLIC SPEAKING AND RESPECTFUL DIALOGUE.
About McCallum Debate and Speech
The McCallum Speech & Debate program was founded three years ago to train students to communicate ideas in a clear and logical fashion using strong evidence. It’s an important life skill, as it helps people make better decisions and build a consensus for a plan of action. Whether it’s a business decision or a political one, debate is an important tool.
The team has grown rapidly. It now sends debate teams to tournaments around the greater Austin area.
